Man Angry At Lack of Spoiler Alert in Article That States Ben Affleck's Character in "Argo" Was a Ghost

Though Ben Affleck's Oscar-winning movie Argo may have twisted some real-life facts for the sake of storytelling, but the fact remains: The film was based on a true story, that even has its own Wikipedia page. It's a pretty well known piece of history!

Apparently, not to everyone, however. In a February review of the film Safe Haven, Huffington Post writer Mike Ryan quipped the following:

Now, this is obviously a joke, since ghosts were not involved in the true story of the Canadian Caper, or in the film Jerry Maguire, and certainly not in March of the Penguins. Twitter user Alex Picchietti—who has since deleted his account, @apdogtown—didn't quite catch this, and last night proceeded to go on a major rant to Ryan about the dangers of spoilers. Luckily, the whole thing was immortalized on Storify by Andy Levy before Picchietti deleted his account, so we can all relive it below:

Mike Ryan later added that Picchietti emailed him to apologize for the whole meltdown. That's nice.
