In the wake of the Saints Row IV's banning in Australia - or more accurately - the Australian government refusing classification to the game; a new "Low Violence Version" will be offered to Australian customers on Steam.
There is no explanation yet of what this version will actually change about the game. Although we're guessing it'll contain a little less anal probing, drug use, and swinging pixelated naughty-bits that got the game in its current predicament. Deep Silver, Saints Row IV's publisher, submitted the game twice to the notoriously conservative Australian Classification Board and both times it was refused a rating.
We have to wonder why would anyone play Saints Row on "low violence" when the entire point of the franchise seems to be a bloody, drug-crazed murder-fest. Players will just have to rely on the deep plot. Wait, does this game have a plot?
