Instagram iOS Update Comes with Landscape Mode and "Cinema" Selfies

The feel of shooting with an actual camera.

None

Instagram just released their newest feature since adding video almost three weeks ago, and now iOS users will be able to capture video and photos by shifting their phone into landscape mode.

Instagram still shoots in its famously square format, so shooting in landscape mode is something only the photographer will notice, since it won't change the look of the media, only how the media is shot. When you're in camera mode within the app, just switch your camera to landscape position and the icons on the screen will adjust. Also in the update, Instagram's "Cinema" image stabilization system now supports the front-facing camera. So your selfie-videos can now come out all silky smooth.
