The Halo 4 live-action web-series Foward Unto Dawn is up for an Emmy for its Main Title Design. It'll go up against the likes of HBO's The Newsroom and CBS' Elementary for this year’s award.

The Main Title Design award goes to the hard work put into captivating title sequences, in this case German 3D animator Polynoid collaborated with Halo 4 developer 343 Industries on the intros for the five episodes.

Forward Unto Dawn was released as a promo for Halo 4 late last year, on YouTube by Microsoft and Machinima before it was brought to both Blu-ray and Netflix. The surprisingly well-done and high-budget series follows the Covenant invasion of a marine academy and is well worth the watch - never mind the foam helmets - with elements of Starship Troopers and Terminator all wrapped into one.

The winner will be announced at this years Emmy's, taking place on September 22.
