How will the new free-to-play F.E.A.R Online from Inplay Interactive, translate the disturbing single player experience to a multiplayer realm? We're not sure, but given this trailer it looks to preserve the, controller-throwing, headphone tossing, jumping behind the couch in terror moments of the series that made it impossible to put down.
If you've never have the chance to play through the F.E.A.R. series, you've been missing out. It's one of the scariest and disturbing games to come out and guaranteed to give you nightmares.
The online version will be a combination of pure online multiplayer dueling using the special powers featured in the series as well as cooperative sceneries that run parallel to the events of F.E.A.R. 2 Project Origin, giving players insight into the scariest and sinister ghost we know, Alma Wade.
We're rooting for F.E.A.R Online to add to the single player story and if nothing else let us destroy each other in a multiplayer fray, just want Alma wants. PC gamers can sign up for the closed beta for F.E.A.R Online at the game's official website.
