A recent study by the UN has revealed that America isn't the most obese country in the world anymore. No, that title now belongs to Mexico. Statistics show that about 70 percent of Mexicans are overweight and one third are obese. Furthermore, the number of Mexican teens has tripled in the past decade, as a third of them are now obese. The study claims that these teenagers will struggle with weight problems their entire lives, which could lead to complications with diabetes later in life.

Americans shouldn't feel too bad about this great country being bumped from its lofty perch, because the U.S. is ranked right behind Mexico. Nearly 32 percent of the population has been labeled obese; it's trailed by New Zealand at 26.5 percent, Chile at 25.1 percent and Australia at 24.6 percent.
