New York City mayor Michael Bloomberg's opinion on marijuana has been well-chronicled. Yesterday, he continued his anti-marijuana efforts on his radio show, referring to medical marijuana as "one of the great hoaxes of all time." Per Bloomberg, it's not that he doesn't believe medical marijuana has an upside, he just doesn't feel like it should be readily available.

"The bottom line is, I'm told marijuana is much stronger today than it was 20, 30 years ago," he said. "That's one problem. No 2, drug dealers have families to feed. If they can't sell marijuana, they'll sell something else. And the something else will be something worse. The push to legalize this is wrongheaded," he explained.

So basically, if medical marijuana is legalized, drug dealers will be forced to sell the hard drugs that they aren't already selling. Naturally, medical experts disagree with Bloomberg's logic. According to Dr. Sunil Aggarwal, MD, PhD: "Mayor Bloomberg's statement that medical marijuana is a hoax is tantamount to saying that the moon landing was faked."

Way harsh, bro. Accurate though.
