The E3 gameplay demo for the upcoming PS4 launch title Infamous: Second Son has been released on Youtube, and it looks like it’s going to be one of the more interesting games available when Sony’s new console hits later this year.

Gameplay seems, well, very Infamous-y, with new series protagonist Delsin Rowe lighting up military grade grunts in an installation set around Seattle’s Space Needle and the Pacific Science Center using fire powers that make great use of the new hardware’s particle effects.

Aside from being the first time the series has used a real world setting – which is pretty cool – the game as looks like it has a fair bit of destructible elements to the environment (not to mention some cool next-gen lighting and city rendering), which, if past games are any indication, will be one of the biggest drawing points.
