A sinkhole located where 14th & F streets NW meet has forced sections of both streets to be closed in D.C. today. D.C. Water spokeswomanPamela Mooring says the hole is 15 feet deep and the result of a piece of concrete falling and breaking the sewer line. According to Mooring, the hole could be fixed by tomorrow's morning commute, but in the event that it isn't, she anticipates that workers will cover it with a plate and repair it when rush hour is over.

In the meantime, 14th Street traffic has been directed to New York Avenue and F Street traffic to Pennsylvania Avenue. Hopefully, this won't ruin anyone's day more than it already has.
