The best day ever is almost here. By best day ever, we mean the day New York City's first Dairy Queen opens. Plans to open NYC's first Dairy Queen were put on pause by Hurricane Sandy, but now it will open at the Staten Island Ferry's St. George Terminal by Memorial Day at the latest. DQ isn't stopping there; they plan to open another location in Times Square by "November or early December" according to a company spokesperson.

Soon enough, New York can catch up on what they've been missing out on.
