Tony Stark is truly unstoppable. According to Vulture, this weekend's box office was once again dominated by juggernaut of a film Iron Man 3, despite the release of Baz Luhrmann's highly anticipated The Great Gatsby. The third film in the Marvel franchise managed to pull in a whopping $72.5 million its second week in theaters - bringing its worldwide total earnings to $949 million so far. Hardly chump change.

That's not to say Gatsby didn't do well though - Luhrmann's adaptation of the classic F. Scott Fitzgerald book hauled in an impressive $51 million, coming it at number two in the box office. Meanwhile, Michael Bay's Pain & Gain dropped to the number three spot with $5 million, and Tyler Perry's The Peeples debuted at number four with $4.8 million.
