After ages of waiting, we finally have our first trailer for Lee Daniels' sure-to-be-amazing upcoming film, The Butler. Before you ask, yes, this is the same project which infamously got Terrence Howard really excited and caused him to say, "To be able to make out with [Oprah Winfrey] and to have love scenes with her and those tig ol' bitties...that was wonderful." Yeah, the film is so much more than that.

The film features Forest Whitaker as a White House butler named Cecil Gaines, who is actually based off of the real life Eugene Allen, a former butler who worked in the White House for 34 years before retiring in 1986. Plot-wise, it tells the story of seven sitting presidents - from Dwight D. Eisenhower to Ronald Reagan - through the eyes of Gaines. Starring alongside Whitaker is, of course, Oprah Winfrey and Terrence Howard, in addition to John Cusack, Alan Rickman, Jane Fonda, Liev Schreiber, Robin Williams, James Marsden, Cuba Gooding Jr., Lenny Kravitz, Mariah Carey, Minka Kelly, and Alex Pettyfer. So, basically, a lot of people.

The Butler is set to hit theaters on October 18th. You can check out the trailer above.
