First things first: If you've never seen Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez's 1996 film From Dusk Till Dawn, stop everything you're doing right now and find a way to watch it. We don't care how - go to a prehistoric Blockbuster if you have to, just do it.

Now that we've gotten that out of the way - according to Variety, Univision has teamed up with Robert Rodriguez for his new English-language El Rey Network, and the first original scripted program will be none other than a television series based on the film.

The original film starred George Clooney, Tarantino himself, Juliette Lewis, Harvey Keitel, and Salma Hayek in an unforgettable role (basically, she sticks her foot in Tarantino's mouth). Danny Trejo also made an appearance, because it wouldnt be a Rodriguez film without him. The series will "will explore and expand upon characters and story from the original film."

Rodriguez created the network, and is serving as chairman of the new network. According to Univision Communications CEO Randy Falco, the El Rey Network aims to be "a testament to Univision’s culture of innovation, the power of our brand to live in both languages, and our constant quest to ensure we remain the ultimate resource for all Hispanics’ tastes and preferences." It's set to launch in December 2013.
