These New Mondo Posters for the Re-Release of the Cult Classic "Repo Man" Are No Joke (Exclusive)

If you're prone to collecting movie posters but don't own an original Mondo print, the time to step your game up is extremely long overdue.

Here's a great place to start. Mondo—the collectible art offshoot of the Alamo Drafthouse theater chain—artists Jay Shaw and Tyler Stout have once again designed the hell out of some unique, modernized, and eye-popping posters for a retro film; in this case, the film in question is the 1984 science fiction cult classic Repo Man, in which Emilio Estevez plays a punk rocker who becomes a repossession agent, meets a beautiful girl, and discovers four alien corpses in the trunk of a 1964 Chevrolet Malibu. You know, that old story.

Mondo's pair of excellent posters are being released in conjunction with Repo Man's April 16 re-release via The Criterion Collection—Shaw's artwork serves as the Criterion disc's cover, while Stout's design appears on the inner sleeve.
