Meeting your future in-laws is never an easy task. But meeting the Peeples is an experience like no other.
In the new comedy Peeples, Wade Walker (Craig Robinson) is gearing up to ask his beautiful girlfriend, Grace Peeples (Kerry Washington), to marry him. There's just one problem: Wade has never met Grace's parents, nor any of the Peeples clan for that matter. To remedy this, he decides to crash their annual family reunion in the Hamptons—much to the surprise of Grace and the rest of the Peeples peeps—with plans of asking Grace's father (David Allen Grier) for her hand in marriage. But after his repeated attempts to ingratiate himself deliver nothing but disastrous results, Wade quickly learns there is no fish in the Hamptons that is more out of water than him.
With an amazing ensemble that also includes S. Epatha Merkerson, Melvin Van Peebles, and Tyler James Williams, Peeples is a hilarious and uplifting comedy about marriage, family, and fitting in.
