The first trailer for Sofia Coppola’s The Bling Ring may have given us a great track by Sleigh Bells and the unforgettable image of Emma Watson pole-dancing…
….but as far as doing much to explain the plot, it was sparse. Of course, the general storyline is known: A group of LA teenagers rob a string of celebrity homes in an attempt to be just like them, get caught, based on true events, one of them didn’t wear six-inch Louboutin heels to court and is very disappointed you think she did – yadda, yadda, yadda. Still, a little more from a film trailer would be good!
Luckily, though, the same can’t be said about this second trailer. Featuring real dialogue and cameos by Paris Hilton and Coppola muse Kirsten Dunst, the promo gives us a good idea of what to expect from the film – Hermione, all grown up, robbing celebrity homes. Count us in.
