After unleashing a verbal tirade that Ari Gold himself would be proud of, the inexplicably angry Delta Gamma sister from the University of Maryland has resigned from her position. That decision will probably help Rebecca Martinson's health and permanently improve her disposition. The trouble began when Martinson felt her sisters were being socially awkward during Greek Week events earlier this month. In response, she let them have it.

She expressed her anger through a classic email rant; the highlight was her threatening to "c***punt" her fellow sisters for being weird. Who thinks of such things? Anyway, the email went viral, becoming arguably the best thing on the Internet last week, which led to the student stepping down from her post....or being forced to do so.

The national Delta Gamma chapter announced her resignation on its Facebook page:

Delta Gamma has accepted the resignation of one of its members whose email relating to a social event has been widely distributed and publicized through social media and traditional media channels.

Michael Shannon should read this announcement as well. Also, Delta Gamma should at least send this girl to anger management or something.
