Rose Byrne is About to Blow Up

You'll want to remember her name.

Rose Byrne stole the show in Bridesmaids with her passive-aggressive rich bitch. Everyone was talking about Melissa McCarthy (and rightly so), but Byrne's performance was a perfect complement to Kristin Wiig.

She was also on the Emmy Award-winning FX series Damages with Glenn Close for five years. She also played the scandalous Duchesse de Polignac in Sofia Coppola's Marie Antoinette. The Australian-born Byrne just joined a few buzz-worthy movies, so you might want to remember her name.

She joins Tina Fey and Jason Bateman in This is Where I Leave You, based on the Jonathan Tropper novel about a Jewish family dealing with the aftermath of the father's death. Adam Driver, Kathryn Hahn, and Jane Fonda. Byrne will play Bateman's love interest.

In Townies, she'll play Seth Rogan's wife as he faces off with Zac Efron; it's directed by Forgetting Sarah Marshall's Nick Stoller.

Hopefully it's only a matter of time until Byrne is a leading lady in her own right.
