Marvel has released a new poser for the highly anticipated Iron Man 3. It features Guy Pearce (Memento, The King's Speech) as one of the villains—he's a bad guy, but on a lesser scale than Mandarin (Ben Kingsley). He plays Killian Aldrich, a brilliant geneticist who creates a "nano-virus." In the Iron Man comic, he sells the virus to terrorists and ends up killing himself over the guilt.
Rebecca Hall plays the virus' co-creator Maya Hansen. Of course, Robert Downey, Jr. plays the titular hero, with Gwyneth Paltrow as Pepper Potts, and Don Cheadle as Iron Patriot/Col. Rhodes. Iron Man 3 opens May 3.
