We don’t know much about director Nicolas Winding Refn’s follow-up to Drive, titled Only God Forgives, but we do know that it’s going to re-team him with Ryan Gosling and centers on a man living in Bangkok in exile after killing a cop. Now, courtesy of The Playlist, we have our first look at the movie in the form of this 20-second tease.
We obviously have no idea what’s going on here, but there is plenty of shooting and kickboxing to make us want more. There is no release date set for Only God Forgives, but with the Cannes Film Festival taking place in May, there is a good possibility the movie could debut there, much like what Refn did with Drive.
