Mophie is an industry leader when it comes to developing rechargeable iPhone cases. But a new competitor, iBattz, beat them to the punch with a series of rechargeable cases for the iPhone 5.

iBattz cases feature two interchangable i9300 Li-ion battery packs, which, coincidentally, is the same battery used by the Samsung Galaxy S III, Apple's rival. Compared to the 1,400mAh battery in the iPhone, the case uses a 2,200mAh battery. According to iBattz, the case can charge an iPhone up to three times.

The Mojo Refuel, which launches in February, will retail for $89.90, and the more rugged Moro Armor case will be available this March for $99.90. A third case, the AquaSeal Hi5, is still being developed. Unlike the two aforementioned models, the AquaSeal Hi5 will feature a stronger, detachable 2500mAh battery. Pricing and a release date have yet to be announced.
