Duck Dynasty is officially a hit for A&E - Wednesday night's second season finale of the series just about shattered ratings records for network. According to Deadline, the episode pulled in a grand total of 6.5 million viewers - 3.9 million of which were in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 age group - making it the most-watched telecast in the history of the network. Additionally, among adults 18-49 and 18-34, it was the top show of the night between cable and broadcast networks.

"Duck Dynasty represents the best of A&E’s unique brand of storytelling, showcasing authentic and engaging characters," A&E president Bob DeBitetto said of the series. This season, Duck Dynasty has grown by 139% in viewers compared to last season, and 141% in adults 18-34.
