StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm was hopefully going to arrive sometime later this year, but we've learned that the new expansion pack will be released March 2013.
Blizzard is adding a whole new host of in-game features to support Esport functions. Player progression system, clans, resumable replays, and a whole lot of other additions will be making their way into the expansion pack.
According to Battle.net the digital deluxe edition of the expansion is priced at US$59.99 and comes with Wings of Liberty. March 12, 2013 will see Heart of the Swarm hit the streets. Worth the wait? Let us know what you think on Twitter.
