We've mentioned before that Star Wars: The Old Republic was going to be free-to-play come this fall, and we've got the details for the launch that's happening next week.

November 15 will see Star Wars: The Old Republic go free and will be bundled with a new in-game currency system. Cartel Coins will be used to buy new weapons and anything else that can get a price tag stapled to it. Of course real world dough will be needed to get those cartel coins, but that's to be expected from a game that's now free-to-play.

Cartel Coins can be purchased in packs from the official website with the cheapest being $4.99 for 450 Coins and the most expensive $39.99 for 5500 Coins. Check out the trailer for the full run-down of all of the the new currency features. Let us know if this will lure you back to the Lucas-verse.
