Not bad, Bond.

It's official: Skyfall is the biggest Bond movie of all time.

As was expected, the film's North American debut this weekend performed excellently in the box office, earning a total of $90 million since Friday - which brings its worldwide total earnings to an impressive $518.6 million. Expect this number to go up as next weekend rolls around. "Skyfall blew past all expectations for the film," a Sony executive told Deadline of the film, before adding that it's "the biggest juggernaut in the history of the James Bond franchise." Not a bad title to have.

Also opening this weekend was the Steven Spielberg-directed and Daniel Day-Lewis-starring drama Lincoln, which, though just released to eleven theaters across the country, managed to pull in a whopping $900,000 over the weekend. The film will gain wide release next Friday.
