We suppose it's not such a big deal to smash a perfectly good car in Germany, where they have so many cars that they have to ship most of them to other countries just so they have room to walk around.

So Daedalic Entertainment, the developers of the sci-fi PC game Deponia, available now on GOG, decided to smash the shit out of one to promote the adventure.

Deponia takes place on an eponymous planet that's covered in trash. In fact, it's known as a "trash planet," and the press release sent out today with the video calls the game a "junk-fueled adventure." So we guess it's kind of related.

And that might prove even more true for the in-development sequel, Chaos on Deponia. If by chaos, they mean wanton car-smashing. Have you played Deponia? Have you smashed a car?
