According to The Hollywood Reporter, writer Bret Easton Ellis is currently working on a script to the upcoming teen drama on The CW, Copeland Prep. The show will be about a high school that turns its students into monsters somehow. We suppose it’s only natural to turn to teen soap operas after writing brilliant works like American Psycho and Less Than Zero.

Catherine Hardwicke, the director of Twilight, has also signed on as an executive consultant for the show, which should be a divisive choice among audiences. We’ll have more details on Copeland Prep as they become available.
