The Schrute family just got a new member as TV Line is reporting that Thomas Middleditch (The Campaign) has been cast as Dwight’s brother, Jeb, in the potential Office spin-off, The Farm. The site is reporting that Jeb will be introduced in an episode of The Office this season, and if the network decides to actually move ahead with the spin-off then he will become a series regular.
Unlike Dwight, Jeb has no actual interest in running the bed-and-breakfast that the family inherits and is more concerned with running his own pot farm. Aside from Middleditch and Rainn Wilson, The Farm will also star Majandra Delfino and Blake Garrett.
