So rumor has it that the Prudential building could take the place of the Washington Monument in Fallout 4. For those who aren't familiar with Boston, that means that the home of the Red Sox could be the setting for Bethesda's next nuclear RPG.
A redditor appropriately named fallout4boston started the rumor, writing, "Fallout 4 will take place in Boston."
"In case you haven't heard, Bethesda has recently been scoping out and researching Boston," he/she/it continues. "They also have a strong connection to MIT. I may or may not be an MIT employee. But that's really all I can say for fear of losing my job.
"I am telling you it will take place in Boston. Whether you believe me or not, how do you feel about a Fallout Boston?"
So naturally there's a good chance this is just complete bullshit, but as the top commenter in the reddit thread puts it, "I don't care where it is. they could put it in the middle of bumfuck texas and I'll buy it" [sic]
