Byron Syvinski, 34, was convicted of robbery and six counts of assault for punching a 7-year-old girl when she refused to give up her bike in Anchorage, Alaska, back in June 2011Am-marie Martin was not the least bit afraid of Syvinski when he approached her, so he decided to strike her, then follow up with more blows after she had already fallen to the ground unconscious.

According to police, Syvinski was "delirious" when they arrested him. His defense, perhaps a last-ditch effort to save his ass via a current trend, was that he was on bath salts at the time of the attack. However, there were no traces of the dangerous drug in his system. He'll be sentenced on Oct. 26, and faces 41 years in prison.
