Negotiations are finally underway for a long overdue biopic about Hugh Hefner, and, according to The Hollywood Reporter, Academy Award nominee Peter Morgan is in talks to pen the screenplay for Warner Bros.
Morgan, who's best known for his screenplays for Frost/Nixon, The Last King of Scotland, and The Queen, reportedly met with Hefner on Tuesday to discuss the film.
No word on who's in the running to star as the great Playboy mogul, but we would like to point out that an actor made an uncredited appearance as Hef in Morgan's Frost/Nixon, and who doesn't love a good spin-off/thoughtful continuity?
