Over the past couple of years we've seen the U.S. Government take down websites thought to be hosting and aiding in the distribution of illegal pirated intellectual property. However, no takedown was bigger than the Megaupload raid that occurred in January of this year. The site's founder, Kim Dotcom, thinks he knows why.

Speaking with TorrentFreak.com, Dotcom says that he has "insider information" to prove Vice President Joe Biden spearheaded the attack on his website. “I do know from a credible source that it was Joe Biden, the best friend of former Senator and MPAA boss Chris Dodd, who ordered his former lawyer and now state attorney Neil MacBride to take Mega down," says Dotcom.

Dotcom already said as much in a cryptic tweet (photo 2) where he posted a phot of Biden and Dodd together with the words "Watch out lovebirds! I know what you did."
