According to Deadline, Joe Carnahan (The Grey) will direct the pilot for a remake of the Danish TV series Those Who Kill for A&E. The show will revolve around a forensic profiler and a police detective as they hunt down serial killers. That concept doesn't sound too unique, but the original version of the show was very successful overseas.
Remember, The Killing was also based off of a Danish crime series, so we'll see if Those Who Kill can succeed where that show failed so miserably. We'll have more on this project as it becomes available.
