Despite everyone claiming that the third season of Eastbound & Down would be its last, Variety is reporting that HBO has just ordered a fourth season of the show. Danny McBride will obviously be back as the foul-mouthed Kenny Powers, and he’ll be picking up the pieces of his life after the events of last season. There is no word from HBO on whether or not this will be the last season for the show, but at this point, we wouldn’t believe the network anyway.
After drawing 1.6 million viewers for its supposed series finale, the show had seemingly gained too much momentum for HBO to stop production on it now. Like the third season, the fourth year of the show will be eight episodes long. So whether you’re ready for it or not, Kenny Powers will be back before you know it.
