The newest trailer for Medal of Honor: Warfighter has confirmed that players who pre-order the "limited edition" of the game will get access to the Battlefield 4 multiplayer beta. The announcement comes after a banner on Origin, EA's digital distribution service, leaked the news late last week.

The announcement is the first official confirmation that Battlefield 4 is, in fact, in development. EA President Frank Gibeau told the press that Battlefield 4 was in development late last year, however, there's been little to no word on the sequel until now.

Based on a statement from EA about the promotion, it seems that Battlefield series developer DICE will once again take the reigns for developing Battlefield 4. DICE collaborated with on the multiplayer offerings for the 2010 Medal of Honor reboot with developer Danger Close, but is not contributing Medal of Honor: Warfighter.

Medal of Honor: Warfighter hits stores worldwide on October 23rd. The Battlefield 4 beta will launch Fall 2013.
