Flora Burkhart, of Arkansas, was driving home last Sunday evening when she crashed into the back of Derek Parker's truck. A reasonable human would have done the right thing and stayed; however, one can't be expected to act like a reasonable human when there's ICE CREAM MELTING IN THAT PERSON'S CAR!
Burkhart explained this to police saying, "I left because I did not want my ice cream to melt."
Police were like, "Sure you're right." Off the record, of course. On the record, they cited her for fleeing the scene and driving too close to Parker.
