Rosie Huntington-Whiteley doesn't strike us as rabble-rouser, but she's reportedly at the center of some drama occurring behind the scenes at "Project Runway All Stars."

Page Six reports that the 25-year-old campaigned hard to become the show's host, landed the gig, then suddenly backed out right before it was set to begin shooting. Why? Because she landed a much bigger gig in "Mad Max: Fury Road," which is shooting in Namibia.

"Literally days before filming, the show suddenly had no host," said a source. "Rosie had been pushing really hard for the job. She’d charmed everyone. But then with less than three weeks to go, Rosie pulled out to do ‘Mad Max,’ creating a huge drama. It put the production in a terrible position, and the Weinstein Co. even threatened to sue Rosie.”

While "Project Runway All Stars" did find a new host— the face of Estée Lauder, Carolyn Murphy— sources close to Huntington-Whiteley say it's just the nature of the business.

"She was never fully committed to the project," says a source. "And there was no signed contract."

All things considered, the new "Mad Max" film looks like it will be a much bigger pop culture spectacle than "Project Runway All Stars." You can't hate on her for backing out.
