Kojima Productions producer Yuji Korekado outlined some of the developer's plans for Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance DLC on twitter, according to Hybrid Games

Korekado took to Twitter after getting questions about the possibility of multiplayer in Metal Gear Rising. There won't be any multiplayer, apparently, so the producer soften the blow by teasing the game's DLC plans. According to the tweets, Kojima Productions plans to add extra missions to Metal Gear Rising post-launch, along with a new character to slice and dice cyborgs with.

"We don't have any plans for competitive online play or anything like that. However we do have plans for some download content after the release from the game that will allow you to play maybe as a different character or some new missions."

Metal Gear Rising: Revengeanece will hit stores in early 2013. The timetable for post-release content has not been discussed.
