Family-friendly flick Madagascar 3 took the top spot at the box office once again this weekend, taking in $35.5 million while fellow top performer, Prometheus, held steady at #2 with $20.2 million. While it's possible that this is simply because more families tend to go to the movies than tech-savvy teens and twenty-somethings who just end up downloading every movie they see, we are also considering the possibility that this clip is brainwashing everyone.

Meanwhile, newcomers Rock of Ages and Adam Sandler's raunchy That's My Boy opened at third and fifth respectively, grossing much lower than studios projected - Rock of Ages with only $15.1 million, and That's My Boy with $13 million. Snow White and the Huntsman, which was released weeks ago, took fourth.
