LinkedIn Hacker Strikes Again With eHarmony Attack

Who's next?

None

Despite offering up no identity, the Russian hacker behind yesterday’s big LinkedIn account hack is making quite a name for himself. He claimed his second victim, dating site eHarmony, in a matter of hours, compromising 1.5 million passwords of the site’s approximately 33 million total users. To eHarmony’s credit, they acknowledged the hack and acted swiftly to reset affected members’ passwords, unlike LinkedIn, which preferred to cover its own ass.

It’s anyone’s guess as to the next target of the Russian hacker, but clearly, he or she is going after very public social networks.
