With a concept as over-the-top as Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, it's hard not to be a little curious about how the finished product is going to turn out. What originally sounded like great fodder for a tongue-in-cheek comedy now looks to be a pretty straight-up action flick with plenty of violence and horror.
And in this latest clip from the movie, we get a bit more background on how Abe Lincoln transitioned into an obsessive vampire hunter. This short training clip is similar to how comic book movies show off the early origins of a superhero. But, of course, this hero just happens to be the 16th President of the United States.
Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter will open on June 22.
