Chicago police pulled over a car in East Garfield Park after noticing that children were not wearing seat belts or strapped into car seats. Routine. Then, the not so routine: the discovered a strapped toddler. For some inexplicable reason, a 3-year-old girl was carrying a 9mm handgun that contained eight live rounds.
19-year-old Queshawn King, the driver, was charged with endangering the life of a child, possession of a firearm with no FOID, and unlawful use of a weapon. Jesus, please take the wheel here.
