What Kind of Video Game will "Star Wars 1313" be?

Some new web domains and a trademark filing point to a new "Star Wars" game franchise.

None

Lucasarts is definitely making something called Star Wars 1313 and, from what we can tell, it looks like it may be a video game.

The company has registered a series of URLs related to the title last week, including "starwars1313.com", "sw1313.com", and "1313starwars.com".

Lucasarts also filed for a trademark for the title last week. The filing indicates that the Star Wars 1313 will primarily be a gaming franchise. The filing says the trademarks is connected to video games, computer games, action figures, online social networks, and books featuring puzzles and games. There is no reference to plans for a film or television property.

According to SiliconEra, the trademark resembles the one Lucasarts filed for Star Wars: The Force Unleashed in 2006.

Earlier this year, Kotaku AU reported that Lucasarts posted job listing where they claimed they were developing a "new way of connected online gaming that is going to revolutionize the industry.

"The job listing specified that that the company wanted someone with experience developing for consoles and with working on a system the deals with online traffic 24/7, both of which sound like they apply to Star Wars 1313, whatever it is.
