Video: Sergey Brin Demos Google Glasses, Hopes They'll Be Out Next Year

New info on the famous Google Glasses.

Continuing its media blitz for the futuristic Project Glass initiative, Google dispatched co-founder Sergey Brin to Current TV's "The Gavin Newsome Show" last night. In the interview, Brin did a few things with the device that we haven't seen/heard before.

1. He took off the glasses and actually let Newsome wear them for a bit (he seemed comfortable and satisfied with what he saw in the short period of time). 2. He used a heretofore unknown trackpad on the right side of the glasses to navigate the user interface. And 3. He announced that it's his "hope" to have the glasses available for sale as soon as 2013.
