Universal’sSnow White and the Huntsman is definitely aiming to give audiences a much darker version of the original Snow White fairy tale, but that’s not to say that the film is completely abandoning its whimsical origins. In this latest clip from the movie, director Rupert Sanders seems to be channeling his inner Guillermo del Toro as he places Snow White (Kristen Stewart) in a Disney-esque forest as she rubs elbows with some enchanted woodland creatures.
This clip also marks the best look we have gotten yet of the Dwarves from the movie, with Bob Hoskins being nearly unrecognizable under all of that makeup. It’s still a little disconcerting that the studio hasn’t shown off any of Kristen Stewart’s acting in these clips and trailers, but everyone else involved in the movie seems to be holding up their end of the bargain.
Snow White and the Huntsman opens on June 1.
