Sega announced today that Aliens: Colonial Marines will be available for current platforms (Xbox 360, PS3, and PC) on February 12th, 2013, months after its anticipated "Fall 2012" release window. The street date for the Wii U version, which was meant to launch alongside the upcoming console, is still up in the air.
Colonial Marines is now the fourth game in the last few weeks to announce a delay into early 2013, following South Park: The Stick of Truth, Bioshock Infinite and Tomb Raider.
This isn't the first time Gearbox Software's Aliens adaptation was pushed back: Colonial Marines was initially meant to be this Spring (so like... now), but was held back 'til Fall.
I'm not sure if it will help you guys bide your time or simply rub salt in the wound, but Sega did release a new trailer, reminding us that the game still looks pretty awesome.
