All of the goodwill that the James Bond franchise earned after 2006's brilliant Casino Royale was seemingly washed away when 2008's A Quantum of Solace failed to impress critics and audiences alike. A weak script, short running time, and flat characters all had people wondering whether Daniel Craig's time as Bond was going to see a premature end. Then when a sequel was indefinitely delayed because of MGM's money woes, the future of the franchise was cloudier than ever.
But in early 2011, the 23rd James Bond film, titled Skyfall, was finally put into production with director Sam Mendes at the helm and Craig back in the tux. We still haven't seen any official footage from the movie yet; however, /Film has just premiered four new pictures from Skyfall that should reaffirm your faith in the venerable spy series.
