Firaxis has taken to Youtube to talk about XCOM: Enemy Unknown, the other reimagining of the classic '90s strategy series. This one stays a little more true to form than the first-person-shooter version that keeps getting delayed, but the devs are still taking a number of liberties.
For example, modern, fancy technology has allowed them to create a much more cinematic turn-based strategy experience, without the constraints of a fixed isometric camera.
