Despite the supposed sweatshop-style working conditions, Apple’s Chinese manufacturer Foxconn still attracts more job applicants than it needs. After all, the pay is relatively good and housing is provided (What else do you need besides your freedom and sanity?) And even if you don’t get a job, you can always score an internship—alongside the 130,000 other interns at Foxconn.

Actually, the number of interns at Foxconn could be as high as 430,000, putting it at roughly a third of the manufacturer’s entire workforce. And unlike here in the States where interns are usually just free laborers, Foxconn interns get paid half of what full-time employees make, plus they receive free housing. Join the line.
