Activision and developer Radical Entertainment are taking a slightly different approach to the season pass with Prototype 2. Instead of restricting a certain aspect of the game to those who buy new copies of the game, copies of Prototype 2 will come with a code granting them access to set of DLC which will roll out over the first seven weeks after the game's release.
A RADNET code will get players lots of little extras like avatar items, behind-the-scenes video, and mutation upgrades, as well as addition weekly challenges and in-game events. Completing said challenges will earn players a secret "shape-shifting reward", which will be revealed later on.
Here's the question: IS this kind of content enough incentive to get players on the fence about picking up Prototype 2 to pick up a new copy instead of a cheaper used one?
